Fence Staining Mesquite

Fence staining with brush. This photo was taken in Mesquite, TX.
When your wooden fence is looking like it’s seen better days, it’s probably because it has. Yes it’s still standing upright but it’s just not looking as fresh and premium as it once did. This may have been due to a single yet powerful hail storm, or sleet and rain causing wear and tear over several years.
You know your fence has a more than adequate amount of fuel left in the tank and will potentially last for years to come, so why waste your hard-earned money on a whole new fence. If only there was a way to return its flair and exuberance and you’ll be one happy camper. Well, there is with fence staining!
Staining in its simplest form is the process of applying thick and transparent liquid mixture onto the fence. This liquid is soaked up by the wood, in turn helping it preserve its natural structure and extending its lifespan. Oh and it’ll look so, so much more vibrant!

Fence Staining Benefits:
  • Prolonged lifespan - when a fence is stained, it prevents water from getting into your wooden fence. There are two main benefits here: 1) there’s very small chance of rotting. 2) you decrease the chances of wood splitting.
  • Limited UV Damage - direct sunlight can strip the color from a wooden fence. This results in a very old and faded look. Not so when you get it stained.
  • Improved and enhanced look - staining will make the wood grain pop, instantly giving your fence a premium and enhance visual appeal. Yes, it’ll look great and even help increase your overall property value.

Process:
  1. Examine - Before we do any form of staining, we ensure that the fence is as clean as possible and rid of any dust, dirt, broken pieces, screws or nails. This step is crucial in achieving the most optimum results and the smoothest surface possible..
  2. Setting the stage - Now we clean the wood using a cleaning agent to brush and scrub away any debris and grime. After application we wait for it to dry before the real magic happens.
  3. Let the staining begin - Using special air pressure techniques that soaks the stain into the wood, we carefully start staining a fence with a sprayer. The air pressure helps with saturation and longer lasting finish. We put the finishing touches using a brush or roller.
  4. Wait - we wait at least 24 hours to see the final results. Don’t worry, we won’t hang around for that long ;) But we’d be happy to come out and verify the final results if you insist. :)
  5. Clean up - Our work is almost done - now we clean up all the mess we created and leave your property just the way it was before we set foot there.
